The managers are all given a booklet entitled: "A Manager's Toolbox to Remaining Union Free." 2. Closure of departments or whole stores that have worked to organize. 3. Illegally firing of workers, along with surveillances and threats. 4. They have more EEO suits filed against them than any other corporation. 5. They buy mainly exported merchandise. 6. The Waltons had a 10 billion dollar profit in 2004 and continues to undermine small businesses. I can tell you just what the Union can do for you But, what if I tell you what we CANNOT do for you? We cannot: hire, fire, transfer, suspend, convert, revert, reassign, excess, post, change schedules, call overtime, give letters of warning and start rumors. All of those things are management's functions. The Union's job is to ENFORCE THE CONTRACT.
